Uplift San Bernardino in collaboration with the San Bernardino City Unified School District’s Family Engagement Center hosted an informational homeownership orientation on Wednesday, July 14.
The orientation, divided into a morning Spanish language and an evening English language session, introduced the community to the housing organizations and financial health partners available to prepare residents to purchase their home.
The presenters at the orientation included representatives from Neighborhood Partnership Housing Services, Inc., Neighborhood Housing Services for the Inland Empire, Pathways to Economic Empowerment and the Asociación de Emprendedor@s.
With 325 registered participants, the community responded “yes!” to the opportunity to purchase a home as a tool to build wealth, secure financial health and preserve its investment.
