Apply Today: 10 Student VR 3D Designer Positions Available

The Making Hope Happen Foundation is excited to announce the launch of its new Student VR 3D Designer program, aimed at providing local high school students with valuable hands-on experience in the growing field of electric vehicle (EV) technology.

As part of its commitment to improving air quality and economic vitality in the Inland Empire, the Foundation is seeking 10 talented individuals to join its team and contribute to the development of a sustainable future. Selected students will work 260 hours over 26 weeks at a rate of $20 per hour.

The program will involve training students to conduct outreach to community members about EVs and EV incentives, identifying suitable locations for EV charging stations, and creating virtual experiences in charging station design. Students will also have the opportunity to learn about career opportunities in transportation electrification.

Key responsibilities of the Student VR 3D Designers will include:

  • Conducting outreach to community organizations and residents
  • Designing and developing 3D concepts
  • Collaborating with team members
  • Creating design layouts and concepts using CAD tools
  • Conducting EV charger site assessments
  • Creating social media content and announcements
  • Assisting in the planning and implementation of community events

To qualify for the program, students must be enrolled in high school or an equivalent training program, have excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills, and be interested in clean technology and sustainable energy.

Interested students can learn more about the program and submit applications HERE. The deadline for applications is Friday, September 27.
