The San Bernardino County Economic Department is now accepting applications for the Microbusiness COVID-19 Relief Grant to qualifying businesses and non-profit organizations and will continue until funds are exhausted.
The grant is designed to assist businesses started before December 31, 2019. As determined by the State, to qualify businesses must be located within San Bernardino County boundaries and have experienced economic barriers due to the effects of the global pandemic.
Additionally, the business must have five or less employees; gross revenues of less than $50,000 in the 2019 and 2020 tax year; and have not received the California Relief Grant issued by Lendry.
The San Bernardino County Board of Supervisors approved $2,500 to be disbursed to qualified businesses. All payments will be issued to applicant by AmPac Business Capital via Mastercard. Check payments or ACH deposits will not be remitted.
The County is working with AmPac Business Capital as the servicer for the application process. To receive in-person assistance, interested persons may visit AmPac Business Capital from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 3110 #B Inland Empire Blvd., Ontario 91764 or call 909-915-1706.
If awarded, all expenses must be deemed as a business expense. This includes but not limited to business supplies, renewal fees, business debt, business utilities, protective equipment or business equipment.
