I-REN Offering No-Cost Residential Load Calculations, Duct Design Training on Thursday, Aug. 24

The Inland Regional Energy Network (IREN) is hosting a training on residential load calculations and duct design on Thursday, August 24 from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. This course will cover the basics of residential load calculations and duct design, including:

  • How to process, check, and verify residential load calculations and duct designs that are required by the mechanical code and the energy code
  • Load calculation methods, including ACCA Manual J and Manual D
  • Equipment selection, particularly heat pumps
  • Duct design principles

This course is intended for building department staff, engineers, and other professionals who need to understand the requirements for residential load calculations and duct design. To register, interested persons may click HERE.
