On Sept. 11, the California Energy Commission (CEC) officially adopted the 2025 Energy Code, which will go into effect on January 1, 2026.
This code cycle update is expected to save $4.8 billion in energy costs and drive 500,000 heat pump installation in the first three years.
The final language has recently been released, and on November 14, from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m., Inland Region Energy Network will be hosting the California Energy Commission to discuss the most important updates in this new code.
