Leaders in Energy Summit Seeks to Drive Change in Impacted Communities

On Thursday, May 11, Uplift San Bernardino Director Karen Suarez and Green Paradigm Consulting President Enid Joffe will join energy executives, elected officials and community leaders for the 2nd Annual Energy Leaders Summit to discuss sustainable energy, hydrogen and renewable energy in disadvantaged communities.

The Energy Leadership Summit is the region’s must-attend clean energy event. Presented jointly by the CleanTech Alliance and the Northwest Environmental Business Council, this event connects policy with practice and addresses the industry’s current challenges and future opportunities.

The summit will explore the nexus of energy, climate change, and the region’s economy with more than 400 industry leaders and policymakers from across the Northwest. The region’s forum for learning, networking, and business development with content covering:

  • The Business of Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency

  • Policy & Economic Development

  • Clean Technology Innovation

Uplift San Bernardino in partnership with Green Paradigm consulting and The Next Education is leading efforts to bridge the gap in electrification in the City of San Bernardino by maximizing participation of residents in clean vehicle purchase incentive programs. A roadmap for charging infrastructure in the community is also being developed in partnership with local high school and college students interested in pursuing careers in this high-growth industry.
