Uplift San Bernardino has partnered with Arts Connection and the San Bernardino Neighborhood Associations for Blocks 
of Care. Blocks of Care and related projects and events invite creative expression from local residents to see, shape and advocate for themselves and the places they want to better care for and see better cared for in neighborhoods across the City.
Projects are already in the process with in-person and online engagement to collectively write a love letter to the City of San Bernardino. Interested persons can add their responses by following #mylovesanbernardino. A web page will house the in-person archive and will weave together all of the responses.
Additionally, starting Friday, June 25 and in partnership with the City of San Bernardino Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department there will be dance workshops exploring these questions and responses via dance and dance-inspired movement at the San Bernardino’s Starlight Cinema. Participants will be able to move their body as if it was writing one big love letter to the City and all of those who call it home.
