Uplift San Bernardino in partnership with the San Bernardino City Unified School District hosted a virtual job fair on Thursday, Oct. 14.
The event, the second of this year, connected 16 employers to more than 100 participants during the two-hour fair. Employment opportunities were open to District students, graduates and their family and friends. Job openings were also available for students under 18 years of age, an age group which in the past has had limited availability.
Uplift San Bernardino’s Small Business Resource Group (SBRG) offered paid internships to two District students. The Internships consist of one Student Ambassadors in the community as well an entry-level clerk position.
In an effort to continue to bring the community employment opportunities, the San Bernardino City Unified is hosting a Drive-Thru Job Fair on Saturday, Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the West Highland Administrative Annex (WHAA) located at 1535 W. Highland Ave.
Uplift San Bernardino will return with its Spring Job Fair on April 14, 2022.
